Your information, handled with care.

Forms. When you contact me, join the community or ask about an event, I keep your name, email, your message and which form you used, so I can reply. Newsletter signups keep your name and email.

Booking. Calls are booked through Cal.com, which collects the details you enter there. Paid sessions are paid through Stripe. I never see or store your card number.

Analytics. Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without cookies and without identifying you. Google Analytics runs only if you accept it in the cookie banner. See the Cookie Policy.

Ember is invite-only for coaching clients. It stores:

• your account email, profile (name, photo and bio, if you add them) and sign-in details
• your intake answers and any documents you upload, such as a resume
• session details, notes I share with you, assignments and your responses
• messages between us, including voice notes, files and reactions
• posts and votes on the feedback board, and any Miro board or Google Doc linked to your program
• people you refer: their name and email, so I can send them one invitation (they can unsubscribe from it)
• a phone number or mailing address, only if you choose to add one
• on the iPhone app, a device token so I can send you notifications

Live sessions run on LiveKit. Sessions are usually recorded so you can watch them back. A recording notice and a REC marker are shown to everyone on the call while it is recording. Recordings are kept in private storage, and only you and I can open them.

Resumes. If you upload a resume, Anthropic's Claude reads it and writes me a preparation brief, so I come to our sessions already knowing your background. Only I can see the brief.

Session notes. After a recorded session, I can have the recording transcribed by OpenAI's Whisper and summarized by Claude into a draft note. The draft is private to me until I review it and choose to share it.

Neither is used to make automated decisions about you. Both services are used through their business APIs, whose terms say your data is not used to train their models.

Only with the services that run the site and the app, for that purpose and nothing else. I don't sell your information or share it for advertising.

I may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Data is stored in the United States. In the app, row-level security means you can only reach your own records. Documents and recordings are in private storage, opened only through short-lived signed links. If you're outside the US, your information is transferred to and processed in the US.

• Form messages: until you ask me to delete them.
• Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
• Ember: for as long as your account is open. Deleting your account (Profile, then Delete account) removes your profile, intake, documents, assignments, messages and recordings.
• Payment and invoice records: as long as tax and accounting rules require.

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your information, or object to how I use it. If you gave consent (for example, to analytics cookies), you can withdraw it at any time. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK or California), you may also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

This site and the app are not meant for anyone under 16, and I don't knowingly collect their information.

If this policy changes in a way that matters, I'll update the date below and tell Ember members in the app or by email.
